Thank you all for the fabulous group of questions emailed to us.
Now as promised, we continue with the Q & A.
Q: My 4 year old stepson is so frightened of my stuffed iguana collection that he screams and stomps his feet whenever I apply necessary preservatives and oil my babies down. How can I help him overcome his fear while making sure that my beloved reptile corpses don’t dry up and disintegrate? -- Wharton B. Inwood, NY
IRC: OK, we’ll give you the abridged layout description. The café is broken up into thirds, more or less. The first of which has a coffee bar (built from scratch) with a gelato counter and market section. The second section includes a wine bar (This bar is 75 years old. We found it up in the Catskills and brought it down) and the main café seating area. Finally the third section has a smaller lounge-like seating area with couches and wingback chairs. The rest of this level also includes storage, a dishwashing area, etc.
Q: Recently I have become aware of an insidious snobbery perpetrated by residents of Marble Hill against residents of Kingsbridge. How can I help the Marble Hill people to realize the error of their ways without sounding too preachy? -- Ozzie (last initial withheld) Northampton , MA
IRC: Yes, we will host events here. We’re planning on having some designated music nights and would certainly welcome local groups who might like to meet here. And we are still looking at an end of May opening.
